Wave size and quality range from average to epic, with an assortment of reefs and beach breaks. The beauty of this corner of the world is due to the variety of its waves, which will suit everyone's standards, and their constancy throughout the year - good waves break year round. Waves break both on the Southern and Western coasts, always providing a surfing alternative according to the swell and within a maximum thirty minute drive. The surf itself is surrounded by wide and breathtaking scenery, with steep reddish cliffs, wide sandy beaches and no real estate developments or seaside resorts in sight. The whole area is protected and forms part of the natural park. The access to the beaches is by dirt tracks twisting through a spectacular scenery.

Description of Accommodation
Villa Catarina is surrounded by lush gardens featuring a swimming pool, sauna and a football/volleyball pitch. The villa contains three double bedrooms, one of which is also available as a special "Honeymoon Suite". In addition, there is a three bed apartment and two wooden cabins amongst the trees for a real Thailand or Bali feel.
All rooms are of the highest standard and have their own bathrooms. The luxurious villa has a large living-room with a TV, video, stereo and pool table to ensure a relaxing environment after a hard day at the beach! As many guests have found out leaving can be very difficult and return visits are common.
The Surf Experience is a family affair and staying at Villa Catarina is a perfect chance to participate in surf-culture on all levels. As soon as you arrive the team will be working hard on and off of the beach to insure your surf experience will be one to remember! Dago and Connie Lipke, owners of villa Catarina will surprise you with their zest for life. Dago's love of surfing and the ocean is still strong and he can be often seen walking up and down his longboard catching long rides wherever we go. Connie's world famous skills in the kitchen have to be sampled to be believed, her truly first class cooking 5 nights a week will blow you away.
